Each extensive lesson plan includes experiments and activities for three age groups and worksheets as necessary. We hope you will find them a valuable tool to enhance your trip to the caverns. Please note: school discount prices are not available during any holiday periods or on any day between July 15 and the end of Labor Day holiday. Between Memorial Day and July 14, walking tour discounts are only available if all booked tours start before 10:59 am or after 4:01 pm. Prices quoted are per person.
Also note: the school program is offered at Moaning Cavern, Black Chasm, California Cavern and Sutter Gold Mine year-round but is only available at Boyden Cavern during its open season. Boyden Cavern closes after the first snowfall. For updates check the cavern pages on this site or call 209-736-2708 or toll free 866-SNCAVES (762-2837).
